Explore the room you’re in as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?
There is a large wedding photo in an elaborate silver ornate frame on the wall. The bride is sitting on a red Victorian love seat wearing a beautiful satin ballroom wedding dress. I assume it’s a wedding dress because it is white. The the dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline. The gown has an embroidered pattern at the bottom with beads and crystals woven into it. The groom is kneeling behind the love seat with his left hand on the bride’s arm, showcasing his wedding band. He is looking at his bride and smiling. They’re a happy couple.
It’s been three weeks since Christmas and almost two since New Year’s and the owners of this home still has their Christmas tree up. There is no scent of Evergreens in the air. This tree is undoubtedly a fake tree. There are shopping bags laying messily next to the fake tree on one side and a dainty cordless vacuum cleaner on the other. The TV console is littered with odd ended items that seem to have been placed there out of convenience rather than purpose. A coat rack stands next to the TV console over populated with jackets.
I am sitting on a dark brown cinema leather reclining sofa seat. It is quite comfy! To my left, I had expected an armrest, but an arm console and cup holder hybrid replaced it. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall and in the screen is a computer desktop. I believe this would classify the TV as a large computer monitor and not a TV.
Who lives here? It is apparent that a young married couple is living here.
